Grit Study

Your participation in this research study is voluntary. By completing and submitting the following surveys, you are agreeing to take part in this research study. What is the purpose of the study?

The purpose of the study is to learn how grit relates to other personality traits.

What will you be asked to do?

Participating in this study entails answering three brief questionnaires (about 10 minutes total).

What are the risks and benefits of participating in this study?

There are no direct benefits for participation in this study. However, your involvement will help us better understand the trait of grit and its relationship to other personality traits. The major risk in this study concerns breach of confidentiality, whereby unauthorized individuals might obtain the data collected. We minimize this risk by using a secure, password-protected server.

How will confidentiality be maintained and your privacy be protected?

We will make every effort to keep all the information you tell us during the study strictly confidential, as required by law. Your responses will be used for research purposes only. All identifying information will be removed when the study is completed.
